Over the past 8 years, I have written for several clients, in a myriad of formats, for two very different agencies. Below are a few examples of print and video, but I also have writing samples of websites, social media, and articles available upon request.

As of December 2023, this is the most recent ad I wrote and co-directed with the talented editor Justin Guigno. Our client had an insanely tight turnaround and an even tighter budget. Their goal was to show this at an AI conference in Washington D.C. to convince politicians to begin to act on the major threat AI poses to our voting system. It was also featured on MSNBC.

Fun Fact: This is the first ad I ever wrote. New Balance was my first big name client at Arnold Worldwide.

A lot of my work at Wondros doesn’t make it beyond board meeting and client pitch presentation but we still put a lot of love and effort into them. This video was to drum up funding for the Omidyar Network.

At Wondros we have the opportunity to make a lot of work with social impact for the greater good. Our client Hawkfish wanted to drive voter turnout in underrepresented communities and with voters under 30. We made several of these social posts and made a measured impact.

I can’t say I agree with the choice of Voice Over here, but that was not my call. I had a blast coming up with a fake Super Hero and writing the script.

The All of Us Research Program has been my longest running client to date at over 5 years. It’s an amazing and historic research effort I’ve been proud to be a small part of.

Disclaimer: I did not write this ad! This was actually one of the first times I was in a writers room with some very talented people at a major agency. This character had already been created and the creative had been sold through to the client. I merely suggested that it would be more funny if the character of Ra was more like a house cat…disagreeable and single minded in his approach to doing house chores. In many ways seeing that idea be realized by other people was a huge factor in me wanting to shift full time to the creative department and leave the world of production behind.

Covid was pretty slow work wise. I created some of these ads with a Creative Director friend to pass the time!
